Sorry for taking so long to crawl out again .  It is half way through the year.....and I last updated in February ~~~~~ ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING [k.....I admit....this is Necia doing this in the UK on behalf of Muzbuz in South Africa!!!].

Has been a hectic year so far, also with Mel being in hospital this last week.  Hopefully things will pan out now and things will get easier and quieter....although towards the end of the year things start getting hectic again. 

One Saturday evening we had a 'hobo evening' at church.  We had to dress up as hobos.  It was such fun.  We all had to take old clothes and blankets which we gave to our sister church in Motherwell for the needy.  I might get some photos to post...although I will have to ask one of my daughters (secretaries) to do that for me. [*Necia thinks...yay....it won't be me cause I am too far to do that....hmmm....thinks again....I'm not to far to update and have this blog being dictated to me ].

I so enjoy visiting with Necia and Odette every Friday at lunch time.  Wish Mel could join in.

On Tuesday I will be having a cataract operation and I won't know if I will be meeting on Friday.....can't drive....wow, for 3 whole days!!!!!

Thank you for all your prayers for my Melanie ~ she left the hospital today and is resting at home.  Thank you so much.

Tomorrow I will be very blessed.  The VIPs - the older people in the church, called The Silver Threads - will be going to have tea at a tea garden called Apron Strings.  It is a very beautiful setting with birds and trees. We always have a get-together on Wednesday mornings and spend some time in the Word of God.

Next Wednesday we are going to bake 140 little quiches for the pastor's breakfast.
